In a game from NCAA Football Week 12, we will see Western Michigan at Ball State.
Betting Prediction:
The Western Michigan Broncos started the season with two losses, then got back up with 5 wins and now they are on a 2-game losing streak. A big reason for these two losses is the season-long injury of their quarterback Jon Wassink. Keleb Eleby replaced him but that just isn’t simply enough to fill in the shoes of Wassink. He has thrown 2 interceptions in these two games to 3 touchdowns. A big problem for Western Michigan is also their defense which is giving up 33.7 points per game.
On the other side is Ball State which is averaging just 22.7 points per game and they are going as far as their offense is taking them. The Cardinals also have problems at the QB spot since their starter Riley Neal missed last game due to an injury. If he is not eligible to play, the Cards will turn to Drew Pitt who has thrown for 575 yards and 2 touchdowns to 4 interceptions.
Ball State is struggling on both ends of the field and I can’t see them improving until the end of the season. The Cardinals’ rush defense is allowing 215 yards per game and Western Michigan will certainly take advantage of that. Given the fact that QB Riley Neal and RB James Gilbert are both questionable for this game, I do not see any reason why Western Michigan won’t win.
