The Buffalo Bulls are 6-0 in conference play and 9-1 this season overall. They dismantled Kent State last week by 34 points and a big reason for this is that they ran the ball exceptionally well. They gained 358 rushing yards and outgained their opponents by 478-183 yards. Tyree Jackson didn’t throw much but he recorded a touchdown on his resume. Jaret Paterson had a solid game, running from 187 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Ohio Bobcats didn’t start the season very well but they were on a 4-game losing streak before losing to Miami (OH) by 2 two points last week. They will be looking to get back to winning ways but this won’t be an easy task, considering the fact that the Bulls are one of the best teams in their conference. Nathan Rourke completed 16 of his 27 passing attempts for 163 yards and two touchdowns.
I expect this to be a high-scoring game with both teams gaining much of their yards on the ground. Buffalo looks like the more capable team on offense and they should be able to do enough to keep the ball off the hands of AJ Ouellette who is also a capable rusher.
