Their division is the worst in football and two of their three wins came against divisional rivals such as the Eagles and their next opponent the Cowboys. Washington are still not sold on any of their QBs but still, Alex Smith is expected to start. He is completing 68% of his throws this season for 918 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions.
The Dallas Cowboys seems to have turned the corner. QB Andy Dalton returned against the Vikings and he played extremely well. He completed 22 of his 32 throws for 203 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception. RB Ezekiel Elliott finally started playing as a franchise back last week and finished the game with 103 yards on 21 carries. The Cowboys will hope to replicate their performance if they are to compete for a playoff spot.
This feels like a must-win game for Dallas. Their schedule does not become easier and they will certainly be in high spirits after their amazing win against Minnesota. Andy Dalton has the experience to see off Washington with the help of Elliott. I just don’t see the Washington QBs being competitive here.
