Match: Walsall vs. Bury Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips
Date: Saturday, 27 August, 2016
Start time: 15:00 UK
After the big disappointment last year in the playoffs Walsall still can’t get their rhythm back and won only 4 points in first 4 rounds.
We all remember the amazing season which The Saddlers had, finishing 3rd, only 1 point away from the direct promotion to Championship. Right now I can’t see them finishing even in top 6 but it’s early to make such statements, of course. They grab first and only win in the first game – home against AFC Wimbledon. Bury is looking forward to a place in the middle of the table but this probably won’t be so easy like it was last season.
Walsall players have many difficulties in attack and the main reason is the transfer of their main striker Tom Bradshaw to Barnsley. Their new striker Simeon Jackson is not meeting the expectations so far. Bury is also a low-scoring team, so Under 2.5 goals seems like a good option here.
