The Oregon Ducks are 10-2 on the season with one loss against Auburn that was probably expected and another against Arizona State that wasn’t. QB Justin Herbert is one of the best in the country and he is completing 67.5% of his throws for 3140 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. The running game is also very good with both CJ Verdell and Travis Dye being highly productive. Verdell is averaging 5.9 yards per carry and 963 in total while Dye is averaging 6.3 yards per carry and 642 in total.
The Utah Utes have a real chance to get to the postseason in case they win on Friday. With Alabama out of the way, there is not much that can stop them. The team is 11-1 with that loss coming against USC in a narrow fashion. QB Tyler Huntley is playing very well and he will certainly get some Heisman votes. He is completing 75% of his throws for 2773 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions while RB Zack Moss is a monster on the ground with 1246 rushing yards on 200 carries and 15 touchdowns.
Tyler Huntley is certainly the better QB and Utah is in a much better position to win this game. The Utes have a real chance to get to the postseason and I doubt that they will let it slip away. They have been dominant throughout the whole year and I can even see them being competitive with Ohio State.
