Utah started strongly this campaign but it lost 2 of their last 5 outings lately. They stand at 7-2, coming off a much-needed bye week. Utah depends on the running game, although they have some elite receivers but its quarterback is still unable to find them on a regular basis. Arizona State is a team that is still looking for itself on offense although their freshman quarterback provides some big throws from time to time. Sterling-Cole completed 21-of-38 passes for 302 yards, a touchdown and 3 interceptions in the last game. Numbers that make him look good and bad at the same time. Halfback Kalen also threw a touchdown in one of the dirty plays Todd Graham prepared for his team.
I predict that Utah won’t have any problem running the ball against Arizona and their defense will do just enough to cool off Sterling-Cole.
