Utah State vs San Diego State 12/4/21 Betting Prediction
Utah State is 9-3 but we have to admit that they only faced one ranked opponent during the season and they lost that game. It was against BYU at the start of the season and the Aggies lost 34-20 at home. Utah State’s offense is amazing, averaging 304.8 passing yards and 153.2 rushing yards per game. The defense leaves a lot to be desired as it allows 26.3 points per game. This is not a big number but considering the opponents, Utah State faced this year, it is a lot then.
San Diego State did not face any ranked opponents and they managed to win 11 of their 12 games. It was really interesting to see their defense unfolding before our eyes. It is allowing just 17.3 points per game and before the start of the season, no one believed the Aztecs to be that good on that side of the ball. On offense, they average 154.3 passing yards and 178.7 rushing yards per game.
San Diego State is really great at stopping the rushing game but they are not that great when it comes to stopping the passing game. The Aztecs allow 237.7 passing yards per game and I assume they will allow even more yards against a prolific Utah State passing offense. Utah State might even win this one but even if they don’t, they should be able to keep it close.
