The Toronto Raptors played much better than we all expected in game 1 but this wasn’t enough to secure them the victory against the Bucks. The Toronto Raptors are averaging 103.3 points on 44.7 percent shooting and allowing 96.9 points on 41.1 percent shooting. Kawhi Leonard is playing very well for the Canadian team, leading them in points with 31.8 per game and he also adds 8.5 rebounds.
The Bucks received a big boost from their bench and role players in game 1. Brook Lopez finished with a career playoff-high in points while Giannis was on the level we all expect him to be. He is averaging 27.1 points and 11.6 rebounds while Khris Middleton is adding 18.3 points and 6.5 rebounds. The team is averaging 116 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allowing 101.4 points on 39.6 percent shooting.
I do not believe that Milwaukee will get the same contribution from its role players and I expect Kyle Lowry to continue to terrorize the Bucks’ point guards with threes. If Kawhi and Siakam manage to stop Brook Lopez, I cannot see how the Bucks are going to cover the spread. It should be a competitive and narrow game up until the end.
