The Portland Trail Blazers have another chance to steal home court advantage in game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. However, the task ahead of them is very difficult. We all saw in game 1 that they were hanging in the game until Golden State started playing like the champions they are and started getting buckets. Damian Lillard is averaging 27.7 points and six assists while CJ McCollum is averaging 24.9 points and 5.5 rebounds.
The Golden State Warriors look solid and we all expect them to get another victory in game 2. The Golden State Warriors are averaging 117.9 points on 48.7 percent shooting and allowing 110.8 points on 44.2 percent shooting. Kevin Durant is averaging 34.2 points and 5.2 rebounds while Stephen Curry is averaging 25.2 points and 5.2 assists.
I know that Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are good enough to steal at least one game from the Warriors but I doubt it will be game 2. They were awful away from home in the regular season and even though they managed to win a few in the postseason, I’m still not convinced that Oakland is the place they will get another W on the road.
