Toledo looks to get over .500 once again and they will be facing a favorable opponent in this one. The Rockets’ offense is very good, averaging 238.6 passing yards and 200.6 rushing yards per game. This is good for 38.6 points per game. Their defense, however, is struggling and it is allowing 31.5 points. The starting quarterback Guadagni is questionable for this one but Eli Peters is playing decently and he can also get the job done if needed.
Kent State is 2-8 on the year and last week they were down 48-0 after three quarters against Buffalo. The Golden Flashes are really struggling on offense and their starting QB Woody Barrett has thrown for 10 TDs and 8 INTs this season. They are scoring 23.3 points per game while allowing a big number on defense- 35.6.
It looks like a no-brainer to me. Toledo is the much better team, looking for a win to be in a bowl contention. Kent State, on the other side, is coming off a big loss and I don’t see them getting a W soon.
