Memphis lost for the first time this season to Ole Miss last week. Riley Ferguson had trouble connecting his passes and finding his teammates. Despite his performance against Ole Miss, he has been filling the void Paxton Lynch made when he decided to join the Broncos in the NFL Draft. Anthony Miller has been helping Ferguson hugely as he made so many receptions so far this season. The Tigers are only allowing 18.8 points per game which are ranked 26th in the nation. Temple’s offense is what holds this team back. They are yet to find their rhythm and if they do find it they will become at least more competitive. Philipp Walkers has been throwing more picks comparing to touchdown passes. Stephan Marshall won’t be playing on Sunday and they will probably miss him as he is one of the leaders in tackles.

Both teams have a defense that can shut anybody and I believe that will happen on Friday. I still think Memphis will win this one but I am going for the under 60.5 prediction as I can’t see these teams even barely reach 60 points combined.
