The Seattle Seahawks are 7-2 on the season but this is a different Pete Carroll‘s team this time. It is all about offense and Russell Wilson. They were in too many shootouts this year and won most of them. QB Wilson is having another MVP-caliber season, completing 68% of his throws for 2505 yards, 22 touchdowns and just 1 interception. He also has a good running game, helping him deliver. Chris Carson rushed for 764 yards and 3 touchdowns so far.
On the other side, we have the only unbeaten team in the NFL. The 49ers are playing better and better with each week. We saw them struggle defensively for the first time last week against the Cardinals but still managed to win the game behind the great play of Jimmy G. He finished the game with 317 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
I don’t like what I’m seeing from the Seahawks and the fact that their offensive line is so inconsistent, worries me. However, I am still going to side with them to cover the spread as I think it is too big and Wilson will do his magic once again. Furthermore, it is a rivalry game and Seattle will be more than prepared for it.
