It was a game where their passing attack wasn’t free-flowing and they also had trouble rushing the football. Usually, San Diego State is a team that likes to rush the football as it is ranked 38th in the league, averaging 192.8 rushing yards per game. The Aztecs also have one of the best defenses in the country, allowing just 17.1 points per game.
UNLV is 2-8 and their season has been an absolute mess so far. It doesn’t seem likely that they will turn it around against a capable side such as UNLV but they will try their best. San Diego State is the much better side. I expect them to shut down UNLV’s offense and even though the Aztecs are not that prolific offensively, they should be able to score enough to cover the spread, especially when their opponents won’t score that many points.
