Betting Prediction:
The Commanders are coming off a big win over the Birmingham Iron with a strong performance on offense. They are still looking for consistency in the passing game but the rushing one is great. Kenneth Farrow II and Trey Williams combined for 162 yards on the ground and a touchdown last week. John Wolford is one of the best quarterbacks in the league on his best day but we haven’t seen many of these days so far.
The Hotshots do not have an elite defense but they will need to find a way to stop Rashad Ross who already has 5 touchdowns on the year. Richard Mullaney is also expected to play for the Commanders and this will certainly spread the field for Ross. Jhurell Pressley has been very effective on the ground and Arizona will need him to give the defense a bit of rest.
What we saw last week from the Commanders was a very solid performance and I expect this to continue. The Hotshots lost to one of the worst teams in the league and it will be interesting to see if they can respond in this one. However, I trust Wolford more than Logan Woodside and this could be the edge.
