In NFL Preseason Week 2, we will see New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Chargers.
Betting Prediction:
The New Orleans Saints fell to the Minnesota Vikings in their first preseason game of the season. Teddy Bridgewater played very well in that game, finishing with 134 passing yards and a touchdown on 14 of 19 passing. Taysom Hill also managed to pass for a touchdown and he went 8 of 14 for 80 yards. Defensively, the Saints allowed 460 yards and couldn’t stop anything the Vikings made.
The Los Angeles Chargers will also look to bounce back from an awful start to the preseason as they lost to the Arizona Cardinals, 13-17. They ran the ball for most of the time because Easton Stick couldn’t do much. Even though he finished on 7 of 11 passing, he was unable to convert on third downs and this cost the Chargers the game. Tyrod Taylor, on the other side, was perfect 6 of 6 but he only played a single drive. Defensively, Los Angeles performed better, giving up 289 yards of total offense to the revamped Cardinals.
Both teams are evenly matched and they also have backup QBs who are able to produce big numbers. I expect this to be an offensive battle and I hope to see more of Bridgewater and Taylor. I’m not sure if anyone is able to predict the winner of this game but I will side with the team because of the home-field advantage.
