The Swiss Maestro plays amazing so far at Wimbledon. He didn’t lose a set and beat so far Guido Pella, Marcus Willis, Daniel Evans and Steve Johnson. It’s fair to mark the fact that he didn’t play against top player till now in the tournament and Cilic will be the first serious test for Roger.
Marin Cilic reached the quarterfinal by beating Brian Baker, Sergiy Stakhovsky, Lukas Lacko and Kei Nishikori in the round of 16 who retire in the second set. Cilic hasn’t a good record against Roger with only 1 win and 5 losses but his only win is in their last game.
Betting Prediction:
I expect this game to be close. Federer is definitely the favourite but as we say he didn’t play against a top player so far in Wimbledon and Marin Cilic will be his first serious test in the tournament so I expect the Croatian to win at least one set.
