The Las Vegas Raiders parted ways with Jon Gruden last season, and now it’s time for Josh McDaniels to step in. The Raiders acquired WR Davante Adams during the summer, and the former member of the Packers will definitely boost the receiving corp’s abilities. He was Aaron Rodgers’ number 1 guy on offense the last few years and should give the Raiders 10+ TDs this season. QB Derek Carr stays with the Raiders and is set to play with his best offense so far in the league.
The Los Angeles Chargers bring back their great offense. QB Justin Herbert threw for over 5000 yards last season, including 38 TDs. WRs Keenan Allen and Mike Williams combined for 2200+ receiving yards while RB Austin Ekeler is a top 5 RB in the league and is coming off another great season in 2021. On defense, there is a lot to be desired, but there are key players who can make stops in clutch situations.
Both teams have issues on defense. On the other side, however, their offenses are amazing. If I have to trust one offense more than the other, this will be the Chargers’ one. Keenan Allen is the best receiver on the field and always has a chance to determine the game-winner.
