The Pittsburgh Panthers are 4-2 on the season with three consecutive wins in the last 3 games, including a home win over the 15th ranked UCF. Last time out, they managed to beat Duke on the road, 33-30, even though QB Kenny Pickett threw 2 picks. The defense, however, completely shut down the Blue Devils’ passing game and Quentin Harris finished with just 165 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions.
The Syracuse Orange are 3-3 this year with 0 Conference wins. They were on a high note recently before losing against NC State last week, 10-16. The Orange have a respectable passing game with Tommy DeVito at the helm. He is completing 65% of his throws for 1534 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. RB Moe Neal has rushed for 348 yards on 80 carries which is good for 4.3 yards per carry.
The Pittsburgh Panthers have a really good defense and I doubt that Syracuse will move the ball with such ease as they did it in their previous games. The Panthers also have the advantage of defense and I expect them to do well on the road against a similar to them opponent.
