The French Paul-Henri Mathieu faces Spaniard Nicolas Almagro in the second round of the Hamburg tournament (ATP 500).

Paul-Henri Mathieu is on 59th position in ATP Rankings. He was eliminated in first round of Wimbledon by Zverev (No. 28). He plays very bad on the season of grass after two early defeat in Hertogenbosch and at Queen’s. On clay, the French remain a defeat in the 2nd round of Roland Garros from Bautista Agut (No. 16), but he dominated Melzer (No. 108) in 2 sets in the 1st round here and will try to qualify for next round.
