Oklahoma State started the season inconsistently with a 2-2 start but the Cowboys managed to go on a 7-game winning streak. They average 38 points per game with Mason Rudolph running the show, passing to his receivers James Washington and Jalen McCleskey. RB Justice Hill has gone for over 1000 rushing yards, helping Rudolph and the offense.
Colorado has the better defensive unit both against the rush and against the pass. The Buffs’ secondary is one of the best in college football and linebackers Jimmie Gilbert and Kenneth Olugbode are helping against the run and they get to the opposition’s quarterback at will.
It will be very tough for Washington and McCleskey to get the better of Witherspoon and Thompson who will give them hard time receiving the football. The Buffaloes are a complete team with a defense that can shut down Oklahoma State’s receivers while their offense can be just good enough to see of the Cowboys.
