Woodside has been just sensational this year, throwing at least 4 touchdown passes in six consecutive games. He is leading the FBS with 28 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions. Toledo’s offense is entertaining to watch as Woodside is leading the nation with his passer rating and his 71.4 completion percentage is also one of the best in the country. Kareem Hunt is having fun on the ground averaging 105.7 yards per game while Cody Thompson is averaging 120 yards per game.
Ohio has had many close games that they lost this year but I don’t think this will be the case on Thursday. Their defense is clearly better than Toledo’s but they will have trouble facing Woodside’s offense. They struggle offensively against any side and their defense is keeping them late in the games. I think that Woodside may find it difficult to have another four-touchdown game but he will be able to deliver the win again. Ohio’s offense won’t be able to put many points to keep it close.
