The New York Giants finally got their first win of the season. It came against Washington at home, 20-19. It was really the defense that impressed during this game as it held Washington to 19 points and forced a turnover. QB Daniel Jones finished the game with just 112 passing yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He was also the leading rusher with 74 yards on 7 carries.
The Philadelphia Eagles also have just 1 win but their record is 1-4-1 due to their draw against Cincinnati. Surprisingly for many, they were fairly competitive against the Ravens as they lost by just two points. Carson Wentz had another game where he struggled big time but at least, he did not throw any interceptions- he finished the game with 213 passing yards and 2 touchdowns on a bit over 50% passing. RB Miles Sanders was really effective as he finished the game with 118 yards on the ground on just 9 carries.
The Giants’ defense is really tough and even though I believe Philadelphia has the potential to win this game, I can barely see New York, losing by more than a field goal. They were able to go toe to toe with the Cowboys, Rams and Bears and this can happen once again against the Eagles.
