Betting Prediction:
LSU’s offense has been performing good lately as quarterback Danny Etling and Fournette are a two-man show. We expected more from the wide receiver Malachi Dupre who had his first touchdown for the season last week against Southern Miss. The defense has been very consistent, allowing only 14 points per game, one of the best in the country. Their linebackers will have to stop both the run and the pass this week against Ole Miss.
Ole Miss has a great offense at its disposal because Kelly has thrown the ball for 1849 yards and 14 touchdowns. The NFL-ready tight end Evan Engram leads the Rebels with five touchdowns so far. It will be interesting to see him going against LSU’s secondary that is not that much athletic.
Leonard Fournette will either win the game for LSU or lose it. It will be him who will carry the load for the Tigers against a defense that will have problems containing him. That’s why I think this game will be decided in the latter stages of the game but LSU will come away with a win at the end of it.
