Betting Prediction:
The Minnesota Vikings have a really inconsistent season so far. Their wide receivers are playing very well but the defense hasn’t lived up to the hype it got last year. It, however, showed up last week against Aaron Rodgers and it didn’t give him much room to operate. The Packers finished with just 17 points and in the last 5 games, Minnesota’s defense looks like last year’s one.
On the other side of the ball, we have Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Last week, they beat the Jets by 14 on the road but we all see that Tom is a bit off and the offense can perform much better. New England is scoring 35 points per game at home but scoring in this one will be tough and I don’t expect them to put more than 24 on the board.
The Vikings’ defense looked really good in recent weeks and the team also has the needed confidence on offense to go to New England and produce. Kirk Cousins was phenomenal in his last start and I expect him to continue his good performance with another one in this one. I believe that the Patriots will win the battle but I don’t see them covering the spread.
