The Milwaukee Brewers will look to complete the sweep on Sunday afternoon when they meet the Colorado Rockies. Many people expected the Rockies to perform better in game 2, however, they finished scoreless and gave up 4 runs, Jhoulys Chacin got the W after throwing perfect pitches in 5 innings before Jeremy Jeffress picked up a two-inning save by closing out the 8th and 9th innings.
The Rockies were shut down for the first time in their playoff history. They have never been held scoreless in the postseason but this happened in game 2. The Rockies faced big trouble when batting the ball and they will certainly be looking to improve on that on Sunday. German Marquez will start game three and he was 14-10 with a 3.76 ERA and 221 strikeouts this season. In his career, Marquez is 1-1 with a 5.01 ERA and 25 strikeouts against Milwaukee.
The reason I think that the Rockies will be swept is that Miley will start for the Brewers. He had some successful games against Colorado. In fact, he is 3-1 at home against them. Additionally, even though Marquez has pitched well throughout the season, he is not that good at home where his ERA is nearly 2 runs higher than what he contributes at home.
