Memphis lost a nail biter last week against USF 49-42 because they couldn’t stop the quarterback Quinton Flowers. Riley Ferguson had a big day, throwing for 331 yards and three touchdowns. He is now just 104 yards away from the 3000-yard mark and he has already thrown 24 touchdowns. The Tigers’ defense, however, is one of the worst in the nation, ranked at 93rd place.
Cincinnati still can’t find their quarterback who can lead this team to glory. This will be a big problem on Friday because the Bearcats won’t have a passing game at all and their rushing is ranked 117th in the nation, averaging 118 yards per game.
I expect Ferguson to have another big game against a non-elite defense and he will go for at least 3 touchdowns once again. Memphis are averaging so many points on offense and they can even decide the winner early in the first half if Cincinnati continue having problems with their quarterback.
