Match: Manchester City – Sunderland Preview, Predictions and Betting Tips
Date: Saturday, 13 August, 2016
Start time: 17:30 UK
Manchester City will start the new season of Premier League at home with a new manager and a lot of ambitions against Sunderland.
Preview:
Pep Guardiola is the new manager of Manchester City who will have the mission to win the Premier League or Champions League in his first season. Of course, the fans won’t be mad if he wins both but I highly doubt that. The Blues already make some very expensive signatures like John Stones from Everton, Ilkay Gündogan from Borussia Dortmund, Nolito from Celta and Leroy Sané from Schalke 04.
The big news for Sunderland this summer is that their manager Sam Allardyce left the club to take charge of England national team. His place took David Moyse which will have the task to keep Sunderland in Premier League. He bought two centre backs: Patrick McNair from Manchester United and Papy Djilobodji from Chelsea. He loaned Adnan Januzaj also from Manchester United and that’s the most important new players in Black Cats so far.

Betting Prediction:
Pep Guardiola will want to start strong especially among the home fans which have a lot of ambitions for the new season and Sunderland seem like the perfect opponent for that. I expect Manchester City to start with confidence and win with at least two goals at Etihad Stadium.
