Betting Prediction:
Louisiana Tech’s offense is one of the most explosive in the NCAA, ran by Ryan Higgins who finished the regular season with 4200 yards and 37 touchdowns. He has one of the best wide-receiver tandems in the nation in the likes of Trent Taylor and Carlos Henderson who each went for over 1000 receiving yards this season.
Navy is struggling to stop the pass and Louisiana Tech’s offense will flourish in this game. Quarterback Will Worth and running back Toneo Gulley injured themselves earlier in the year and left the Navy’s offense to Zach Abey who is struggling to produce and he relies mostly on the running game to get the job done.
Even if Abey can get the triple option going and Navy is able to keep the Bulldogs’ offense off the field for most of the time, I still think Ryan Higgins can tear the defense into pieces. I can’t see Navy hanging in the game and probably this will be a blowout loss for the Midshipmen.
