Old Dominion qualified to its first bowl game in the school’s history. It finished 9-3 where the team averaged 36 points per game. Quarterback David Washington finished with 28 touchdowns to just 4 interceptions, leading one of the most intriguing offenses in college football. Eastern Michigan will be participating in its first bowl game since 1987 after finishing 7-5 this year.
