This is the only matchup in the Elite Eight between a number 1 and a number 2 seed. Both teams are loaded with talent and clearly this is the most intriguing game of all that are going to take place.
North Carolina used a run during the early stages of the game in order to build a big lead and then never looked back, holding on to win over Butler by 92-80. Berry and Jackson will outrebound Kentucky’s big men and they have the ability to score from inside the paint which will be crucial on Sunday.
Kentucky showed up against UCLA with De’Aaron Fox playing a big part of their win, scoring 39 points for the 86-75 victory. The Wildcats’ backcourt is clearly better than North Carolina’s but they will have to put on the same effort on defense to stop the Tar Heels’ scorers like they did against Lonzo Ball and Bryce Alford.
