The Kansas City Chiefs returned to winning ways after beating Buffalo on Monday. Patrick Mahomes was once again his usual self. He was asked to throw the football just 26 times and he completed 21 of these throws for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire had a big game, rushing for 161 yards on 26 carries.
On the other side, we have a Broncos team that is on a 2-game winning streak after beating the Jets and the Patriots away from home. The win over New England was really impressive as Denver was big underdogs there. QB Drew Lock played really poorly, completing just 10 out of 24 throws for 189 yards and 2 interceptions. RB Philip Lindsay was the one who won the game for Denver at Foxborough, rushing for 101 yards on 23 carries.
Denver finally return to their home field and will be pretty pumped up against a much much better Kansas City team. I was not at all impressed with what I saw from Drew Lock last week and now he will have to keep up with Patrick Mahomes. This will be something new for him and I can’t see the defense holding off the Chiefs’ offense that will definitely get hot at some point.
