Iowa lost two games against Wisconsin and Purdue in the mid-season which showed their incapability to win games against good defenses. That is mainly because Iowa’s offense is not good itself. It is averaging just 25.7 points per game which is a fairly low number for a college team. A big part of their points are scored by the defense that is also allowing just 17.3 points per game.

Michigan is 11-1 and probably the hottest team in the country behind Georgia. Their only loss came against Michigan State when the good Michigan’s defense could not hold off the Michigan’s rivals. Michigan has the 8th ranked defense in points allowed with just 17.2 points per game. The rushing offense is amazing, averaging 224.9 rushing yards per game. QB Cade McNamara is also helping the team big time with his 64.4% completed passes, 14 TDs, and 3 INTs.

Iowa’s rush defense is great, but I don’t trust it during the whole game against Michigan. We also have to take into consideration the elite Michigan defense that will just neutralize Iowa and we might even see Iowa score less than 10 points. This will definitely be enough for a big win.
