QB Jarrett Guarantano is completing 59% of his throws season for 1937 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions while the running game is being led by three running backs, each of them with at least 400 rushing yards.
The Indiana Hoosiers are 8-4 and their 4 losses all came against ranked squads. Unlike Tennessee, their defense is not that solid but the offense is compensating. The team is scoring 32.6 points per game while allowing 24.5 points on the defensive end. QB Peyton Ramsey is the team’s leading QB with 69% completion of his throws, 2227 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. RB Stevie Scott III is a powerful running back who is running all over oppositions’ defenses. He has rushed for 845 yards and 10 touchdowns so far this season. He is almost unstoppable in the red zone.
Tennessee’s defense is for real and the Hoosiers will have a hard time to move the ball against it. Ohio State shut them down and held them to only 10 points of offense, while Michigan held them to 14 points. In both of these games, Indiana could not get its ground game going and I believe that this will happen once again.
