Betting Prediction:
The Astros didn’t have any problems, sweeping the Indians in three games in the ALDS and they continued their great performance in Boston on the road in game 1. Scoring 7 goals against the Red Sox helped them take the W but they can’t think that this will happen on a regular basis. Yuli Gurriel hit a three-run home run while Justin Verlander did his job perfectly after allowing their runs on 2 hits while walking 4 and striking out 6 in 6 innings of work.
The Red Sox will be looking to bounce back after their abysmal performance last evening. Chris Sale failed to impress and now David Price will take his spot at the mound. His only performance this postseason against the Yankees wasn’t good at all. He allowed 2 home runs in that game and his ERA was 16.20.
Things don’t look better for the Red Sox because their pitcher will have to face a top offense once again. Price is a pitcher that will get you to the postseason(he was 6-2 in the regular season) but will struggle to perform in the playoffs. Cole is 2-1 against Boston when starting and I believe that he will add another W on Sunday.
