In FCS Football Week 14, we will see Holy Cross at Monmouth.

Betting Prediction:

Holy Cross is 7-5 and 1st in the Patriot Conference. Their schedule was actually a lot tougher than the other teams’ and they faced many good programs. Of course, they lost to all of them but the experience they gained from those games will be inevitable. The Crusaders are on a 2-game winning streak with dominating wins over Georgetown and Fordham and they also won 4 of their last 5 games.

The Monmouth Hawks, on the other side, are 10-2 and also on an 8-game winning streak. The offense is free-flowing and the Hawks rarely score less than 40 points. Last time out, the running game was intact with Pete Guerrero rushing for 240 yards on just 26 carries. QB Kenji Bahar finished with 364 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, and 1 interception. The defense can be suspect from time to time but it is rarely needed because the offense does everything well.

Holy Cross is a team that I like very much but I doubt that they will be able to get anything from this game on the road. If they played Monmouth at home, I probably would’ve gone for the upset but Monmouth’s offense is too good to struggle in front of its own fans.
