Betting Prediction:
Green Bay will face Atlanta on Sunday in order for one of the teams to advance to the Super Bowl. The Packers blew a 28-13 fourth quarter lead against the Cowboys but still managed to win in regulation because of the amazing throw Rodgers made in order to move the chains and give his team a shot at a field goal. Even though the offense is clicking, Rodgers won’t be able to use wide receivers- Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison while Jordy Nelson is questionable. Packers’ defense has been awful all year and not only its secondary is suspect but it will be missing two of their key players- Morgan Burnett and Quinten Rollins.
The Falcons looked like a Super Bowl when they went through the Seahawks on Saturday. Matt Ryan was perfectly accurate, finding his receivers at will while Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu had monster games, receiving the football. Devonta Freeman was his usual self when running through the lanes, although he has faced one of the best front sevens. The Falcons may be bad on defense but they have fast players who can cover Green Bay’s receivers while Vic Beasley and company won’t be giving that much time for Rodgers to throw the football that the Cowboys and the Giants gave.
Atlanta is clearly the better team on offense, defense and special teams. The Packers have much more playoff experience and the best quarterback in the game is on their side but I can’t see them going to ‘Georgia Dome’ and win this one over the ‘hot’ Matt Ryan.
