The New York Giants finally turned the corner and they won their last game against the Panthers. We must admit that this year the problem is not called Daniel Jones as the QB showed he can really ball. The problem is that the Giants do not protect him well, they do not give him enough receiving supporting cast with WR Sterling Sheppard playing fewer games than expected due to injuries, and RB Saquon Barkley being the second rushing leader behind QB Daniel Jones.
The Kansas City Chiefs were dismantled last week against the Titans where they only managed to score 3 points in the third quarter and that was it from them offensively. They could not cope with the aggressive Titans’ defense and they also could not stop the Titans’ passing game. The Chiefs were trailing early on and they were forced to throw passes all over the field to make up for the deficit.
I expect this to be a scoring outbreak for both teams. WR Sterling Sheppard is expected to play and the Giants showed that they can score against the Panthers last week in their 25-3 win. Good teams like the Chiefs always bounce back after disastrous performances and I believe this will happen again this week. As good as the Chiefs are, their defense is just a mess and can’t stop anything at the moment.
