The Baylor Bears only lost to Oklahoma this year but they lost to them twice. The team is averaging 35.2 points per game on offense and it is giving up 19.3 on defense. The team has trouble running the football but the passing game is sufficient for the most part. QB Charlie Brewer is completing 65% of his throws for 2950 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions while RB John Lovett is adding 637 on the ground with 5 touchdowns.
Georgia will end the year as the 5th ranked side but they will certainly feel disappointed. This team had everything, in order to succeed but we did not know about Jake Fromm’s limitations when throwing the football. He is unable to throw over the top and this makes Georgia a very predictable side. RB D’Andre Swift had a great year and I expect him to be taken somewhere in the first round of the upcoming draft. He has 1216 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns and he played against some very tough defenses.
The Bulldogs are 24th in passing defense and they will make things difficult for the Bears. They are also third in rushing defense, allowing just 75.7 yards per game on the ground. Even LSU had trouble moving the chains against Georgia. I expect the Bulldogs to have a big game because their playmakers will play, even though 5 of their starters will miss the game.
