In a game from NCAAF Week 6, we will see Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Louisville Cardinals.
Betting Prediction:
Both teams have 3 losses so far in the season. The Louisville Cardinals will look to stop their losing streak on Friday as they were beaten consecutively by Virginia and Florida State. As the leader of Georgia Tech’s triple-option offense, Marshall has rushed for at least one touchdown in all five games this season. The quarterback has 9 touchdowns so far- 7 rushing ones and 2 passing. Georgia Tech are solely relying on the ground game to give them great results and even though they are consistent on the ground, the results are not very good.
Louisville, on the other side, are still looking for the right quarterback to do the job for them. Currently, they are rotating Jawon Pass and Malik Cunningham without success. Pass started the Cardinals’ first three games but was replaced by Cunningham on two of those three occasions. Cunningham started game number four against Virginia and was eventually relieved by Pass in the second half. Pass had a poor game against Florida State, even though he threw for two touchdowns. He also had 2 interceptions and 3 fumbles, which were all recovered by the defense.
Louisville showed glimpses of life in the second half and they were moving the ball better on offense. I believe that they have enough to cover the spread in this one against an offense that is only relying on the run.
