Two Eagles teams will be competing for the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl. Eastern Michigan enters this game with a 7-5 record and a 5-3 conference record. The team has potential on offense to produce, however, it hasn’t shown it much throughout the year. We all saw what they did to Kent State and the thing is, they can do it to anyone if they show consistency. Tyler Wiegers has been decent all year as he has thrown for 11 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Georgia Southern, on the other side, is 9-3 and aiming for double-digit wins. The team is only relying on its running game. The Eagles have a triple option running attack which has been extremely lethal this season. Georgia Southern’s offense scored 35 points against Georgia State and it also finished with over 270 yards on the ground.
