Detroit lost a narrow game to Green Bay last week and it was generally because its defense couldn’t keep Aaron Rodgers from hurting them. Matthew Stafford had a very impressive season with 4327 passing yards, ranking sixth in the NFL for passing yards. The former Seahawk Golden Tate, who is the number 1 target right now, will be motivated to go up against Seattle and do damage against it.
Russell Wilson started the season inconsistently but he found his rhythm later and finished the season with 4219 yards for 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Doug Baldwin and Jimmy Graham will be vital in this game in order for the Seahawks to win it. The Seahawks’ running game was pretty much non-existent and Wilson will have the ball in his hands for most of the time. Earl Thomas won’t be playing on Saturday and this will be a big problem for their secondary.
I think the points spread is high and Detroit is capable of even beating the Seahawks on the road. The Lions’ defense allowed 19 or fewer points in six consecutive games because their secondary features elite players like Darius Slay and Glover Quinn who can make life miserable for Russell Wilson.
