Detroit Lions lost against the Packers 34-27 last week and they managed to score 27 with no running game as Ameer Abdullah didn’t play. Abdullah won’t play in this one, either and Bears won’t have the same problem this week, so they may be able to allow less than the 130 yards Ezekiel Elliot had. Bears’ rushing defense is one of the worst in the NFL but they have a chance to improve against Matthew Stafford who will only have to target his receivers in this one.

Whether Jay Cutler or Brian Hoyer starts, I still think the Bears have a chance to win this game if their defense steps up a bit. Bears’ offense is ranked 30th in the NFL but I think this is a chance for them to get their first win of the season and finally their offense to get going.
