The Columbus Blue Jackets will be having a busy weekend as they will finish their three-game road trip on Sunday in Anaheim. They have already won one of their away games and it was against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday by 4-1. Columbus was 9-7-1 on short rest last year and this comes as a good test for them. They will be playing against a much weaker side that just lost a nail-biter to the Rangers. The Jackets are a team that scores many but it also concedes many and it should be an interesting game.
Anaheim is 0-5-2 in their last 7 games. Even though they outshot the Rangers, they lost the game. They seem to be improved, however, the amount of goals they are scoring is awful- 2.36 goals per game. They are also giving up just 2.71 goals defensively which is a good sign against a Columbus side that is scoring in bunches.
I believe that is high time the Ducks won. Too many games for the Blue Jackets and I do not expect them to have the same concentration in this one and I also think that they underestimate their opponent who is desperate for a win. A low-scoring game that Anaheim will win.
