Colorado Rockies are visiting the full Dodger Stadium on Sunday in the final season series. Dodgers are already 2-0 in these series but they will be playing against the 26-year old rookie Tyler Anderson. The 36-year old veteran Rich Hill will be the pitcher for the Dodgers who will be looking to snap his losing streak of 2 games, although he has been 12-5 since signing for his new team. The LA pitching ERA is 3.65 which is on top of the MLB- fourth overall.
Anderson is looking for his third straight win against Hill but his overall performance hasn’t been as good as his opponent’s one. He managed to perform at his best when these two teams met two months ago when he had 6 shutout innings in order to win the game. Despite beating him two times already, he has been 5-6 in the league. Anderson has played great against the Dodgers in his two starts against them. He conceded only two runs in 13 innings, so I am confident he can keep their offense quiet for most of the game. Hill, with his overall performance for the Dodgers, showed he can contribute to his new team and I think he can contain Rockies’ offense, either. That’s why I like the under pick in this one.
