The Bengals started with 4 wins and 1 loss until they faced the Steelers. They recorded another loss against them on their resume by 28-21. Their pass defense is awful and I expect the Chiefs to have fun against it. The Bengals are 28th against the pass, giving up 282 yards. Dalton has thrown for 1674 yards with 14 TDs and seven INTs on the season. Their offense has the potential to erupt, however, it is not as explosive as everyone would love to.
The Chiefs finally lost a game last week when Tom Brady beat them. Patrick Mahomes continued his great performances but that wasn’t enough on the road in one of the most unpleasant environments. Their defense was horrible and they allowed 500 yards to the Patriots. They’re averaging 35.8 points per game which is a good sign, considering the fact that their defense may have a lot of work this week as well.
I expect the Bengals to bounce back after a narrow loss in the last minutes of the game against Pittsburgh. The Bengals are awful against the pass but their offense is doing well. The Chiefs, on the other side, haven’t defended anything and this should be a shootout. Both teams can get the W and I believe that the game winner will be decided late in the 4th quarter.
