Chicago started the season pretty well, going 5-1 and things looked pretty good with Nick Foles under center. The last 4 games, however, have been a nightmare for the Bears who lost all of them as they were forced to face 3 playoff-caliber opponents and a Vikings’ side that found its groove by pounding the football down the ground. The Bears are still being competitive in these games- that has to be said, but their inability to get anything going on the ground is taking them back.
The Green Bay Packers are 7-3 and the offense looks as explosive as ever. They are averaging 30.8 points per game with 277 passing yards and 116 rushing ones. QB Aaron Rodgers is playing lights out once again, completing 68.2% of his passes for 2889 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. RB Aaron Jones and RB Jamaal Williams have nearly 1000 yards combined for 7 touchdowns.
Don’t let the Packers’ loss against the Colts fool you. They were terrible with football and turned it over 4 times. I doubt this will happen for another week and Green Bay would like to make up for it. They are explosive and can score very quickly regardless of who they are playing against. The Bears just don’t have what is needed to stay in such games.
