A lot of players are expected to participate in the upcoming game against the Chargers, including C Ethan Pocic, OT Cedric Ogbuehi, WR Penny Hart, and many others. Things do not look good on offense but it is expected QB Geno Smith to play in this one which is a good sign for the resurging Seahawks.

The Chargers are 1-1 after beating the Rams and losing to the 49ers. It is obvious that the Chargers have a super talented squad, especially on the defensive end. They are allowing 10.5 points per game in the preseason while scoring 11.5 per game. QB Chase Daniel is the only reason they could not beat the 49ers and if he steps up his game, I‘m sure it will be difficult for Seattle to win.

With so many players returning for Seattle it is totally expected for the Seahawks to play a better game. I think, however, that they will be a bit rusty and will face a great defense. All of the Chargers‘ games were narrow wins and losses and I envision this to continue with the same trend. That‘s why I‘m sticking with the Chargers covering the spread.
