Betting Prediction:
The Carolina Panthers haven’t started going since the beginning of the season. Cam Newton doesn’t look like the quarterback we all though he will be after his impressive 2015 season. This year, he has only 15 touchdowns alongside 9 interceptions. The defense is not helping, either, being the third-worst in the NFL against the pass. Newton had an awful game against the Chargers, throwing for just 160 yards, a touchdown and an interception, although Carolina won by a score of 28-16.
Kirk Cousins has been very consistent this year and he has already surpassed some of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. He has thrown for 4054 yards this season, being only behind Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. The Redskins’ last game was at Philadelphia where they won by 27-22 against a very good defense. I think Kirk Cousins will tear apart the Panthers’ awful secondary and the Redskins will score at least 30 while the Panthers’ offense will be unable to keep up.
That’s why I think Washington won’t have a problem beating Carolina by 7 or more points on Monday night.
