Wyoming surprised everyone, reaching the playoffs for the first time since 2011. They finished 8-5 under their head coach Craig Bohl who topped his win total from the previous two years combined. Brian Hill has been very consistent this year, going for over 1000 rushing yards again (1767) with 21 touchdowns. BYU’s defense, however, is very good against the rush and Hill will have to be spectacular in order to give his team a chance to win.
BYU are in the postseason again and Taysom Hill may not play this time in a bowl game because of an injury. This shouldn’t be a big deal for the Cowboys as Tanner Mangum is ready to start and he has proved so far that he has a bright future in the college football. Jamaal Williams finished the regular season with 1165 rushing yards and he may have his say on the final score of the game again.
BYU’s offense won’t have any problems to get to the first down on purpose because of the unstable Wyoming’s defense and this will turn into a blowout win.
