The Boston Red Sox took a big loss in the first game but they managed to bounce back in the next 2 games. In game 2, they scored 5 runs in the first 3 innings thanks to Bradley Jr. In game 3, both sides were tied in the 6th inning but Boston erupted in the 8th and secured the victory. Rick Porcello is expected to start game 4. The Red Sox’ pitcher played in 33 games this season and he recorded 17 wins and 7 losses. He allowed 7 runs against the Astros the only time he faced them this year.
Since the Astros swept the Indians in the previous round, we all thought that they could easily beat the Red Sox as well. Things didn’t work out this way and after they won the first game, they’re not looking like themselves. They managed to hang in the second one but their bullpen didn’t finish the game strongly enough.
I refuse to believe that the Astros’ defense will be this leaky this time around and I think that they will play much better in game 4. Porcello is still having nightmares of Houston’s batters and I believe that they have his number and they will win this one again. Prediction: Astros to win
